– Freedom –

It’s good to be free. And we are lucky in the UK to have so many freedoms to be grateful for. Each person has the  power or right to act, speak, or think as we want within the law. The right to make our own decisions, and express our opinions.

We started this month with an assembly about the life of Nelson Mandela and how he stood up for equal rights and freedoms for everyone in South Africa. These inspirational stories of upstanders have helped to shape our world, inspire others and initiate change for the better. This is one of our ‘Golden Threads’ at Coldfall  - to be an upstander and an activist.
