This is the outcome of so many of our other values of the month. To achieve excellence, you need: · Perseverance & Resilience: Teach that mistakes are part of learning. Encourage children to try again and not give up when tasks become challenging. It’s not a straight road to the top. · Enthusiasm: a sense of curiosity and a desire to learn more, supporting children to become lifelong learners. It’s a huge highlight when children are sent to me with their excellent work. This excellent can be different for each child but I’ve learned to try to impart to them that it is the hard work and effort that they are receiving the sticker or certificate for and excellence is the product of this.
