Weekly reminder 9th-13th October 2023

Whole School

  • Active Voicemail

Please ensure that you have an active voicemail on your mobile so that the school can leave a message when we try to contact you. If the school has called and you haven’t been able to take the call, please contact the school as soon as you can. Thank you.

  • Harvest festival – Friday, 20th October

Please send in non-perishable foods to your child’s class. If you can, please also send in a £1 donation, which will be given to EDUCAID, a charity that provides free places at schools for some of the most deprived children in the world. On 20th October children can wear Autumn colour clothes to celebrate the Harvest festival.

  • Walk to School Month

October is Walk to School Month where we can celebrate the many benefits of walking, including improvements to our health and the environment. If you have to drive, please try to park safely away from the school entrance and ensure that you leave enough time to have a 5 to 10-minute walk to school. This will not only reduce congestion, pollution and safety around the school gates but it will encourage children to walk more.

We hope you will support your children in walking, scooting or cycling to school as often as possible throughout October.

  • Nasal Flu Immunisation – Reception to Year 6

Please be reminded that the school’s nursing team will be visiting on 12th October 2023 to carry out nasal flu immunisation. If you haven’t yet completed the flu immunisation consent form, please do so as soon as possible via the link below. Please note that the link will expire on 9th October at Midnight.  (If you’ve already filled out an e-consent using this link, you DO NOT have to fill out the online form again. The school nursing team will have the records stored already.)
